Hi all,
I have done some minor changes to appsonly script, new version is here:
http://ubertechnique.com/unattended/appsonly
changes:
20-Mar-2006
use %SystemDrive% instead of hard-coded c:
skipped usage of /persistent:no flag because of problems with Vista
Preview Releases
27-Mar-2006
added conf. section
optional deletion of existing drive mappings (will "free" drive z:)
BTW, I'd like to introduce some --remote flag to the script that would
allow to start it on an admin PC and invoke unattended installations on
a remote PC (push-based installations). I know that Windows Resource Kit
includes some Remote-Command-Service Tools (rcmd.exe, rcmdsvc.exe) and
*maybe* these tool could be useful. What do you think?
@Niels:
Section 8.3 of unattended FAQ deals with application only installations.
Could you add a link to my script? Thanks!
Regards
Gerhard
