Hi, I've created a recent bootdisk (with 2.6.17 kernel) you can download it from http://bofh.be/unattended/linuxboot-20060620.tgz
It uses parted 1.7.1 (with a patched /etc/master from http://www.smi-softmark.de/unattendedcvs/master.patch) which I tested on my Dell Optiplex GX620. I didn't get any NTLDR errors.
