Yes, there is a script for that in there (I have not tested it because my Dell 
test system is to new for its kernel))

Problem is: the ATA_PIIX  kernel-module turns my old test  system 
(PIII Compaq Deskpro)
HD into a serialATA-like sda. The machine will not boot..
When renaming ata_piix.ko, unattended starts up the HD as hda, and the machine 
boots OK.

But, my new test system (Dell optiplex 745) needs this module...
Its not yet clear to me whats going wrong here. 
(I will investigate head/sectors/mbr next)

This is something that has popped up with the more recent kernels, and parted 
in combination with the old DOS-based windows installer does not help the 
confusion :-/
