Hi there,

in the next few seconds, I'll be unsubscribing from this list.

I do not longer use Unattended. It caused too many problems for us with
newer hardware, so I switched over to a BINL-based solution you can find at

http://www.promodus.net/linuxris
and
http://oss.netfarm.it/guides/pxe.php

This works without using a Linux bootup, it boots straight into the
Windows setup. Thus we don't have any issues with missing kernel
modules. The only drawback is that there is no built-in database to
generate Unattend-files (we program something for that at the moment),
and that you are not as flexible with partitioning, but that's no
problem for us, we only need one big partition.

For software distribution, we use WPKG (http://www.wpkg.org).

I'd like to thank everyone involved in this great project, it really
helped us out and saved us from buying expensive MS licenses. I wish you
all the best in the future and hope to see you again some time. :-)

Should you want to contact me, or need further information about the
BINL-based solution, just drop me an e-mail. I'll try to compile a
manual out of it, but this can take a while.

All the best,
Florian
