With the couple of patches that have gone in the last couple of days, I can say that 4.8rc1 will work in my environment. I've tested with both DOSemu and nt5xinstall on
VMWare Workstation 5.5 HP Tablet (which stressed both XP Tablet edition and 240 Head geometry) Optiplex 755 Dimension 4500 Everything seems to work correctly. On only *one* of the Optiplex installs, the network seemed to hang getting its address - however it did eventually continue after a couple of minutes. That was the first time I'd seen that issue, but it sounds like some others are having similar problems. Otherwise, great job everyone who has contributed!
