I'm trying it for two hours now, though - but can't get it to work.

Since I cannot find the URL
(http://unattended.sourceforge.net/testing/48_rc5/unattended-4.8rc5.zip
is a 404) I patched against 4.7.
* I updated config.pl to reflect the necessary changes (unchanged default)
* I put nt5x-install where it belong.
* I put all the drivers into site/win_drivers
* I put the search-win-drivers.pl script into dosbin

However, the driver scanning never seems to occur - and I cannot find
logfiles which would tell me what the setup was doing.

Maybe the problem really is only that 4.7 does not invoke some hooks
needed by the script?
