No, but my previous post was probably non-understandable:

the local download directory is usually updates/<os-and-sp>/.  , right ?

so in files winxpsp3-up0808.bat winxpsp3-up0811.bat winxpsp3-up0812.bat, 
the local download directory is <os-an-sp>/updates/.

Does it make more sense ?
