I also downloaded your files.  I was worried about the snapshot files, as I 
didn't know if they were required or not.  I used virtualbox to run the vmdk, 
and it worked just fine, but I didn't pursue anything after logging in, as I 
didn't know if I needed to boot from the snapshot.  If the snapshot is really 
just a leftover, and not required, I should be able to use it.

I noticed that the osinst.vmx refers to a scsi hard drive, although my version 
of virtualbox only uses ide drives.  This doesn't seem to be a problem, 
since / is on lvm.

Since the osinst machine is providing a dhcp server, I'm going to have to use 
a separate internal network to test things out on.  I'm also going to have to 
free up a bit more memory before I can test this out.  Do you think I can get 
by just using 128M on each server, instead of 256M?

Ok, I ran the osinst (but not the mirror, yet) and just got the centos default 
apache page when I browsed to it.  Perhaps the snapshot is required after 
all?
