Testing your commit (changeset 3037, file winxpsp3-up0908.bat) : * fine with new patch KB956744 (instead of KB958469) * KB971657 patch applying makes reboot the system on its own, so todo.pl is unable to bounce & reboot the system itself :( Workaround: as for other winxpsp3-up*.bat scripts, using command-line switches '/norestart /passive /nobackup' instead of '/Q' for all todo.pl lines of winxpsp3-up0908.bat is fine for me.
