#37: OpenOffice without JRE? -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: mythrix | Owner: Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: packages | Version: 4.8 Keywords: | -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- openoffice.bat downloads the installation file which comes bundled with JRE. However I already use sun-jre.bat for installing JRE, and currently the version isn't even the same (OpenOffice installs 1.6.0_20 while sun- jre.bat installs 1.6.0_21.)
Isn't it better to use the OpenOffice installer without JRE bundled? -- Ticket URL: <http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/unattended/ticket/37> Unattended <https://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/unattended/> This is a system for fully automating the installation of Windows 2000 Professional and Server, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net Dev2Dev email is sponsored by: Show off your parallel programming skills.
