For Windows XP and 2003 there's a few VB scripts in the system32 directory for managing printers. For Windows 2000 they're not included, but I think they're in the Resource Kit. prnport.vbs installs a new TCP port. prndrvr.vbs installs a new printer driver. prnmngr.vbs creates the new printer. Any advanced configuration of the printer, such as enabling duplex printing must be done through Autoit, or by doing it once and creating a .reg file with the registry changes for later installations. I believe Windows .Net includes more advanced settings for printers, but I haven't played with it yet. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/scriptcenter/default.asp -- Dag Nummedal ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ unattended-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/unattended-info
