I think this is a good idea. (Actually, I think somebody sent patches
once, but I seem to have lost them...)
There are a couple of ways we can do it.
The easiest and most backwards-compatible way is to add a [_meta]
variable, like so:
[_meta]
toplevel_scripts="base.bat winxp.bat generic.bat"
...but have it default to the current list.
The other way is to do what you suggest, and move the toplevel scripts
to their own directory, say z:\scripts\top. This is a clean design.
But it loses some backwards compatibility, and it makes it a little
harder for the scripts to refer to each other...
So I am leaning toward the [_meta] approach but am willing to be
talked out of it.
