This is off topic so I shall be brief I have large numbers of users, all of whom have a home drive H: defined in the user account. Recently it has dissapeared, The settings in AD are still there, and if I map the drive by hand it works fine.
By a process of elimination we have found that the drive IS mapped initially & something is deleting the mapping in the 1st 5-10 seconds. I can find nothing in my logon scripts that would unmap the drive, so I am hoping that someone knows a way that I can track down the process that is doing the unmapping.
