Hello there people,

Just wanted to be sure that the mail i sent some weeks ago(see below if it didnt) came to the list intact.
This is a true showstopper for me, any tips or pointers would be really helpful.

When installing Win2k, the install expands the partition without problems, but XP refuses to do the same.
Btw, "extendOemPartition" is set to yes in unattend.txt :)

Subject: Windows XP partitioning issues

Hey folks,

I seem to have a problem with the new version of unattend (3.4) when windows XP is involved.
After the first reboot the windows installer needs more harddrive space than 2gb, it used to fix this by itself (version 2.3b) by expanding itself, but no more.
I tried setting the partition size (post_fdisk_cmd) to a higher amount (someone on the list tried this with good results), but then the installer fails with a "divide by zero" error. I assume there is a good reason for the 2gb size (?)
I looked through the code, and i see no real changes in the way partitioning is handled in "install.pl" in the newer versions, could it be that the new "fdisk" version is giving me trouble or is there some (unattend.txt) switch that i have forgotten ?

Btw, its an Oem(dell) version of winXp, but this has never presented me with any problems before...
