You asked here:

  http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg00548.html

And Dag Nummedal answered here:

  http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg00552.html

Specifically, he suggested these unattend.txt settings:

    ; This will Enable the XP Firewall, but only after first boot.
    ; During install there's no firewall.
    ; This also only enables the firewall for the default (first) connection.
    ;
    [NetAdapters]
    Adapter1=params.Adapter1

    [params.Adapter1]
    INFID=*

    [Homenet]
    InternetConnectionFirewall = Adapter1

Did you try his suggestion? If so, what happened?

I would like to understand this better myself. The key is knowing
about the the [Homenet] section, I think, which should be documented
in ref.chm (see http://unattended.sourceforge.net/advanced.html#guide
for download instructions).

Searching Google Web/Groups for "[Homenet]" and
"InternetConnectionFirewall" is also mildly interesting.
