Pat
Please explain what I am doing wrong.
Ok,
In the unattended.txt I have placed the following:
[Identification] JoinDomain=xxx.com.au DomainAdmin=xxx.com.au\administrator DomainAdminPassword=xxxxxxxxx
I presume that the unattended.txt just works for the first time that Windows 2000 starts?
I then edit the postinst.bat (I think that is what it is called) and I then change the line:
todo.pl “autolog.pl –logon=0” into todo.pl “autolog.pl –logon=1 –-user=administrator –-domain=xxx.com.au -–password=xxxxx”
Then in the base.bat I use the todo.pl “autolog.pl –logon=1 –-user=administrator –-domain=xxx.com.au -–password=xxxxx line again.
I must be doing something wrong here. When Windows 2000 finishes loading it installs Perl fine and then reboots and logs in as Network Administrator yet for some reason drive Z is no longer mapped so everything obviously stops.
As I have been using the Unattended almost since the beginning I am not new to it but this is the first time that I am logging into the domain as Network Administrator so that I can install network printers etc etc.
I am sure I am only making a small mistake somewhere and would greatly appreciate your help.
Kind Regards
