- Pat ** Changes in version 4.1a (2004-Apr-19) This is a bug fix release, mostly. Handle "" for username in mapznrun.bat. Make installation scripts run quietly (@echo off). Thanks to Jeff Black. (I know, this is not really a bug fix. Oh, well.) (Linux) Map install share as read/write instead of read-only, since some users want their config.pl to write to it. (Linux) Build Perl with threading support. Should provide better compatibility with most Linux distributions' binary modules. (Linux) Create empty install/linuxaux/usr/local directory and add its "bin" and "sbin" subdirectories to the boot disk's PATH. We do not use these, but an end-user might. (Linux) Instead of unconditionally waiting 5 seconds, try DHCP immediately and retry repeatedly for ten seconds or so. Retry is needed because some network drivers take a while to become ready. (Linux) Include entire usr/share/keymaps directory on boot disk, because some keymaps under "i386" include other maps. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
