If it joined the domain, then the network hardware is working, which is the most common cause of this problem. To be completely sure, try mapping the Z: drive by hand. Next, disconnect the Z: drive. Switch to "C:\netinst", because all of the files related to Unattended are there. Examine tempcred.bat and permcred.bat to make sure their contents are sane. Run "mapznrun.bat echo hi" and see what it does. (The normal post-installation command is "mapznrun.bat postinst.bat". You can confirm this by examining the [GuiRunOnce] section of unattend.txt, which is also in this folder.) Get back to us with what you learn.
