Hi,
Thanks for your response. I'll try linuxboot.
One more question: I'm using 4.2c version and i can't remove the "Edit files" confirmation.
I've tried in my [_meta] :
edit_files = 0
and
edit_files = n
But it still prompts me for editing. What am i doing wrong.

I'm trying to boot DELL 260GX with onboard Intel 1000 adapter using
4.2C bootcd (using e1000 driver).
[snip]
When using e1000 computer stops after "Initializing TCP/IP via DHCP....." and then after ~3 minutes it starts to beep continuously and flashes the following warning:
"Invalid opcode at .........................(lot's of numbers here)".
Had someone seen this problem?
Yes:

The good news is that the FreeDOS folks figured out the problem and fixed it in their 2.0.34 release. The bad news is that the 2.0.34 release introduced a new problem on my Dell Precision 450, preventing me from upgrading to it:

This problem seems to be better in FreeDOS 2.0.35, which can now read config.sys but appears unable to read files from within config.sys. This still only happens on my Dell, however, so we are revving to 2.0.35 for the next release anyway.
So, you have a couple of options. You can wait for the next release of Unattended. I should have a test release ready in a day or two. Even if memdisk does not work for you, at least you can boot from a physical floppy.
Or, you can try the Linux-based boot disk. At this point, the Linux-based boot disk actually seems more stable than the DOS-based one. I should probably update the documentation to reflect this.
