Pat, I just tried using MS-DOS to create a partition on my hard drive C: FAT16 Active. Then I format it; A:\format C: /S D:\i386\winnt /s:D:\i386 /t:C:\
This works fine, I want to accomplish the same by booting into linux/dosemu/freedos. I've read your code, install.pl and I ended up with more questions than answers. How do you create the partion and format it? I thought my problem was the MBR, but now I realize its the way I create my partition and format it. When Winnt.exe ends and I reboot, the boot sector can't see that my partition is bootable.
