Hi,

I've been using Unattended 3.5 for about 4-5 months to set up Windows 2000 automatically. Now that we would like to update to Windows XP I've been doing some research to upgrade our unattended setup to that. We would like to (of course) get rid of all of the extra and needless XP things like the Welcome Screen and "Take a tour!" and all of that. I've found out how to place these in the registry with cmdlines.txt but the file never seems to run. I've put cmdlines.txt into z:\os\winxpsp1\i386\$oem$ with contents:

[COMMANDS]
"REGEDIT /S regtweaks.reg"

with or without the /S switch nothing seems to change during the Setup stage - if I run the same .reg file later on it works, but at that point HKCU doesn't point to Default User anymore.

Have I placed cmdlines.txt in the wrong place? All of the Microsoft documentation seems to want the file to go into %SystemDrive%\Sysprep\i386\$oem$ but obviously Unattended doesn't use a Sysprep folder...

Thanks all.
