Read the "Programmatic configuration using config.pl" section of <http://unattended.sourceforge.net/advanced.html>. > On the one hand I need a differentation between OS (NT, W2K pro, W2k > Server, ...) > And on the other hand between the usage of the machine (webserver > (servers in DMZ), "normal" server (behind a FW), WST for user, WST > for Admins, ...) > > The problem for me now is, that I need different "standard" > installations which I can realize over diff. Unattend.txt files. > > But how to explain the system which one to use? First, you decide what you want the interface to look like. Then you write some Perl code to implement it. We will help if you will be specific. Do you want to be prompted for OS and usage and compute which unattend.txt file to load? Or do you just want to have a menu of unattend.txt files and then pick&choose which to load? Or do you want the system to select one to load based on the machine's IP address or MAC address or host name? In short, what do you want to provide as input, and how (exactly) do you want unattend.txt to be chosen from that input? - Pat ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 _______________________________________________ unattended-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/unattended-info
