I am successfully using the unattend 4.4b linuxiso boot cd on Dell Optiplex GX1, GX110, GX200, GX150, GX240 and GX270, (and hopefully soon a GX280). I was unsuccessful at getting the DOS bootdisks to work with some of the more recent models (GX270) due to the Intel network drivers not working (I think).
Maybe more detailed information of what model Optiplex and what errors you are seeing would be useful? ----------------------------------------------------------- Murray Fraser A/Helpdesk Coordinator Corporate Administration Agency Queensland Government EM: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: Felipe Navarrete [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, 14 October 2004 1:47 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Unattended] linuxboot4.4b would not boot on an optiplex I was able to boot from CD with a system rescue CD (gentoo) and a windows unattended CD but linuxboot4.4b would not boot. JFYI. Maybe ISOlinux version is corrupt?
