The entire contents of my ISOLINUX.CFG are below.

# isolinux/pxelinux configuration file

default unattended

label unattended

        kernel bzImage

        append initrd=initrd z_user=username z_pass=password z_path=\\itlab\install

I made 3 changes (all in italics), the username, password, and path were modified.  Everything else was left as is.  I inserted the ISOLINUX.CFG back into the ISO and burned it and it worked like a champ for me.

After much searching I used MagicISO (http://www.magiciso.com/) on windows to edit ISOLINUX.CFG inside the linuxboot.iso.  It worked like a champ.

I am having trouble finding information on modifying the linux boot cd. I want change the default drive mapping for the z drive to another server on out network and not the default //ntinstall/install

Can someone point me in the right direction?  I am linux challenged at current stage of this game if you know what I mean. I did stand up a laptop with linux fedora installed yesterday but I am taking baby steps on it.  Can I use some windows tools to edit the Linux boot cd and then recreate the .iso and burn a new modified copy?

Thanks for the guidance,

Steve V
