Have made a few more attempts, and it looks like the problem is the Samsung SP0411N hard-drives. The installation fails both when using the linux and the dos bootdisk if i try it on the samsung HD, but works fine with another brand.
The Samsung SP0411N HD worked on the 3.5 release, so it might have something to do with the the change to FAT32? Need FAT32 in order to install Winxp with SP2 integrated.
