I had the exact same problem.
You'll have to use the perl script (forgot the name) to rename them to lower case.
That solved it for me.

Hello,

like others before I have the following error:

"Scanning for OS directories under Z:\os...
None found! bailing at /z/dosbin/install.pl line 664."

I searched the list and found some points worth checking out ;-)

a) the file server:

  It's a w2ksp4 pc with the folder "install" (and any subitems) shared to
everyone. As a test I gave everyone any rights.

b) after bailing: ls /z/os:

  brings up: w2k and wxp.
  ls /z/os/w2k -> i386
  ls /z/os/w2k/i386 -> many files ;-)
  same to /z/os/wxp/i386

c) the files txtsetup.sif, setupp.ini & prodspec.ini under i386:

  These files are there, I can watch them with more.
  But one point is strange: all files I copied from CD are in capital
letters.. Do I have to rename all those files? I thought it does not matter
because of windows being the file server.

d) Changes to \site\config.pl & \site\unattend.txt & lib\unattend.txt

  no changes to config.pl
  no unattend.txt under \site\
  unattend.txt under \lib\ is:

e) What is the file.cvsignore doing in \os\?
  It contains: "w*".
  But that might not be the problem, I already tried other folder-names
like 2k and so on.

I use unattended-4.4 and it's linux boot cd.

Thanks for help!
