Try the MAC address with all letters in CAPS. I believe that the example unattend.csv has the MAC address in caps as well.

Subject: [Unattended] Problems with V4.5

Hi,

I just tried the 4.5 version and have one question and one problem...

This is my unattend.csv (I replaced the config.pl with the sample-config.pl before I started everything):

"Lookup","Property","Value"
"0007e90a8a81","ComputerName","high-test"
"high-test","FullName","Jack Walter"
"Jack Walter","OrgName","Unknown"
"0007e90a8a81","AdminPassword","jackyo"
"Default","AdminPassword","test"
"high-test","Windows XP Professional ProductID","CODE SUPPRESSED"
"high-test","JoinWorkgroup","highend"
"Default","top_scripts","base.bat"

After booting from the linux bootiso:

IP address: 192.168.0.11
MAC address: 0007e90a8a81

Enter computer name (* == autogenerate):
high-test

When I enter the name (that I defined in unattend.csv)
high-test, the other values (Organisation, etc.) are
found automatically...

Why do I have to enter that name by hand? Shoudn't it
be detected automatically because the MAC address was
found it the unattend.csv?

Following the installation process:

...
making my decisions
...

Last one in the installation process is the step where
you can edit the unattend.txt, postinst.bat or doit.bat
and when I just hit 4 to continue the installation (giving
the yes on the following question) I get:

Windows XP Setup
=================

Es ist ein interner Setup-Fehler aufgetreten.

Es konnte keine Auslagerungsdatei erstellt werden.

Setup muss beendet werden. Bitte EINGABETASTE drcken.

EINGABE=BEENDEN

Just for information: I have a second partition on this
harddrive which ist 40 GB and has plenty of space left
(NTFS formatted).

I tried the installation with two different XP Systems
(XP Professional | XP Home (I changed the product key
for both installations in the unattend.csv but both
gave the same error message...

Any hints why it is not working?

Regards,
Ulf
