Hi Mark We have OEM versions of Office2003 and I was also unable to get unattended to work.
I have used an autoit3 script which works fine. Our case is harder because the 2003 cds are upgrades which require the Office XP cd to be available as a cd and not just on a network share. Luckly Microsoft provide virtual cd to do this I create virtual cd's drives for both versions from iso's stored on the network, use autoit to figure out the drive letter for each and the script does the rest. I can send you the autoit script in a few hour once near a computer that can access it if that would help.
