Hi Niels,
From my 9 months of experience with Unattended, the biggest problem I have is making a
network connection when I never know which type of NIC is coming next. The next problem
is to rescue data on an NTFS partition before doing a completely new install. So, given
the capability of BartPE to connect to the network and its full NTFS read & write facility,
it seems a good idea to put these two things together.
I have tried using some of the ideas from Brad Driver with his NETBOOT project to give me
an idiot proof way to connect. Things went fine until a laptop showed up and the disk would
not work despite having the driver for the NIC as indicated on the PCI codes!
My feeling is that, although BartPE is slow to load, it has the capacity to store many
network drivers together with all necessary partitioning and formatting tools.
There is also the option, if a DVD is used, to have Unattended run from the DVD and use
BartPE just for the rescue side .... but perhaps I am rambling.
Yours thoughts will be most welcome and many thanks for all the scripts and all the other
hard work.

It definitely is ... but I don't see an advantage or a benefit in combining it with Unattended. What do you think?
