...or use boot.ini to start on OS on a separate partition - it need only be small because it would probably only need dos - but that OS would have no qualms about zapping the XP partition.Could even contain basic recovery tools or a network client to connect to the install point (& perhaps kick off a re-install thatway)
You mean in a similar manner to the way ANI
works?
