I found that out the hard way, then found that hardware vendors try
very, hard not to conflict on names.  In any case, my drivers folder is
just full of symlinks into other directories, which contain the
downloaded drivers.

This isn't just an 'unattended' hack, it's exactly how Intel etc want
their drivers deployed, for the big OEMs doing mass production runs.
