This is an message is for history browser: If your having problem with during the installation and the installer is complaining about files which can't be copied. It might be because of the dot mangling of samba ( this might be a samba version related problem. ) I fixed this through adding this to my smb.conf
mangled names = no I thought i mentioned it since i lost quite some time on that problem.
