AutoIt3 looks very slick, but I had trouble with it on this application. I had trouble getting focus to the right controls and I finally gave it up. It mentioned that if the controls weren't Microsoft controls it might not work right.
I did find InstallRite (http://www.epsilonsquared.com/installrite.htm). The installation was flawless, now I just need to make sure PowerBuilder works correctly. :) -----Original Message----- From: Alexander Seith [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2005 4:28 PM To: Ty Moffett Subject: Re: [Unattended] Anyone use Unattended with Powerbuilder? Hi, I think the only solution is writing an AutoIt Script yourself. You can get it @ http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/. The syntax is pretty much self-explaining and looks like visual basic. If you need a reference for the syntax, look into the included help file. Good luck Alexander Ty Moffett wrote: > Well, apparently there aren't too many folks who use PowerBuilder enough to > worry about this, but just in case there are any lurkers out there watching > this thread I'll update it. > > I did manage to talk to Sybase tech support today and while they use > InstallShield for their products they deliberately disabled unattended and > silent installations because they were having trouble with them.
