Hi Xavier, you can unpack the initrd image by (yes, you need cpio twice): cat initrd | (cpio -i -d -m ; cpio -i -d -m) To create a new image use: find . | cpio -o -H newc -O initrd Regards, Moritz -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alexander Stein Sent: Thursday, July 07, 2005 7:06 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Unattended] Eject of install media after reboot? Hi, I'm building an installation system for lots of servers and desktops at university using unattended. I noticed, after the files from share point has been copied, the computer restarts. But the it starts mounting the share point again and copies the files. To finish th installation I have to eject the install media. Is that correct? I had the idea of using grub to get around this problem, but first I wanted tu ask you, if I'm doing something wrong. Greetings Alexander PS: How can i edit the initrd in the iso-File? ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
