Greetings,

I have run into a strange problem with Acrobat Reader v7.0.3. I can
print from every other application including GhostView, but I can't
print from Acrobat Reader.

Printing from Adobe Reader v7.0.3 - printing to Ricoh AP4510 or HP 4500
---------------------------------
Using Filemon from sysinternals I see that spoolsv.exe, the
Windows Spooler returns a "ACCESS DENIED" Error when it tries to open
the network printer \\PCSERVER\PRINTER.

Printing from any other application - printing to Ricoh AP4510/HP 4500
-----------------------------------
The spoolsv.exe application is able to open the network printer
\\PCSERVER\PRINTER,
write the data, flush and then close the printer.

In another lab, they are printing to a HP 8150 without any
problems. The application (AcroReader) and printers are installed the
say way.

So what am I missing here?

Is the Ricoh driver messing up something in the printer sub system
that only affects AcroReader ?

Thanks
Paul
