Hello,

I am just starting to experiment with Unattended. So far this looks like a wonderful tool! Many thanks to the authors! That said, I'm stuck on a small problem and could really use some help. :)

I would like all users to have an GUI theme. So, I created a theme called "my.theme" and copied it to the following directory on my server:
path/to/unattended/os/XPSP2/i386/$oem$/$$

In my unattend.txt file I have this setting:

[Shell]
CustomDefaultThemeFile = "%WinDir%\my.theme"

This results in the "my.theme" file being copied to C:\Windows\MY~G7.THE during the Windows installation. Why is the filename being truncated?

I've browsed this mailing list archive and have found mention of 64 character limit on the path and filename, but I haven't hit that limit.
(the path on the server is
\\ntinstall\install\os\XPSP2\i386\$oem$\$$\my.theme )

Any advice would be appreciated.

PS I'm using the Linux boot CD and a Samba file server.

Thanks,
Charles
