Hi Tobias,

The CVS script is correct as it is. Take a look: it downloads activeperl to
%Z%\packages and uses the same location in the next line.
If it doesn't work for you, can you tell us what error you get?
You can also check where your activerperl is:
If it is in the %Z%\packages\perl folder, move it to the %Z%\packages folder
and try again.
Is it in the %Z%\packages, then I think your problem isn't with the script
but something else, like the permissions on the file for example.

Your error-report can probably point us in the right direction.

Greetings,

Niels de Groot

Onderwerp: [Unattended] perl script from cvs is not working

Hello,

the cvs perl script looks like:
:: URL|ALL|
http://downloads.activestate.com/ActivePerl/Windows/5.8/ActivePerl-5.8.6.811
-MSWin32-x86-122208.msi
|packages/activeperl-5.8.6.811-mswin32-x86-122208.msi
set perl_msi=%Z%\packages\activeperl-5.8.6.811-mswin32-x86-122208.msi

But the second line isn`t working...
I think, it should be "set perl_msi=%Z%\packages\perl
\activeperl-5.8.6.811-mswin32-x86-122208.msi"

Here is my Patch for the cvs version of the "perl.bat - script".

Thank you for integrate this Patch.

Regards,
Tobias Richter
