Hi Tobias,

sorry for the late reply.

I don't think that you should change something in the data section. you
have to use the fdisk_cmds in the _meta section.
This is what I do to get 2 partitions using the Linux bootdisk; 1
Partition of 10G for the system and all other space for the second
partition.
See my unattended.txt and the explanations as an example:

----------------snip----------------------------------------------------
--
[_meta]
   fdisk_lba=1
   fdisk_cmds="fdisk /clear 1;fdisk /pri:10000 ;fdisk /pri:100,100
/spec:7;fdisk /delete /pri:1;fdisk /pri:2000;fdisk /activate:1"
; ; delete 1st Part, make new Part
with 10000MB, rest of Harddisk for 2nd Partition
;                                       ; then delete 1st again, new
part 2000 Mbyte (dos cant handle big partitions but win will auto resize
it later)
;                                       ; activate first part
   fdisk_confirm=0
; ;don't confirm for the commands
   format_cmd="format /y /z:seriously /q /u /a /v: c:"
;                                       ; format C with fat32
   replace_mbr=1
   top=base.bat
  ; middle=""
  ; bottom=""
   edit_files=0

[Unattended]
    UnattendMode=DefaultHide
    FileSystem=ConvertNTFS
    ExtendOemPartition=1
    OemSkipEula=Yes
    OemPreinstall=Yes
    UnattendSwitch=Yes

[Data]

Hope this helps,

Subject: [Unattended] Can`t create two Partitions ?

Hello,

once again the question: Why can`t I create two partitions with the cvs
version from unattended.

I use vims new linuxboot CD. Before that I used the dosbootdisk with the

same unattended.txt and it worked great.

Here is a bit of unattended.txt:

[_meta]
    fdisk_lba=1
    replace_mbr=1
    fdisk_confirm=0
    format_cmd="format /y /z:seriously /q /u /a /v: c:"
    fdisk_cmds="fdisk /clear 1;fdisk /pri:8192;fdisk /pri:100,100
/spec:7;fdisk /activate:1"
    top=base.bat

middle="formatd.bat;profil-adm.bat;vse710egs.bat;notes.bat;mozilla.bat;s
un-jre.bat;adobe-reader.bat;mrs.bat;sap.bat;nsm.bat;flash.bat;office2keg
s.bat;dna.bat;reflect.bat;%%WINVER%%-symbols.bat;cacls.bat;joindomain.ba
t;domainuser.bat"
    local_admins=""
    ntp_servers="10.114.10.106"
    edit_files=1

[Data]
    AutoPartition=0
    MsDosInitiated=0
    UnattendedInstall=Yes

It doesn`t mather what I choose at the Data section. It is the same
problem everytime. I only creates one big partition.

I don`t know what to do ? Have anyone a idea what I have to change,
othertimes I have to go back to the dosboot disk...

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Tobias Richter
