I have looked around for a solution but not found one.
I have a Win2k server called ntserver (imagination was lacking that day ;) )
I have added the DNS entry for ntinstall and pointed it at the server.
I gave up on the dos boot disk as it need the netbios name to be
ntinstall so the linux one works great until the post install script
tries to run inside windows and I get ntinstall not found.
I don't want to change the servers name as it is the PDC and a whole
pile of scripts run from it by name. It does have a static IP address
however.
Is there and easy env variable I can change or is there a way to give a server 2 names (like another Nic?)
TIA
Sean
