I've found that some have had success with an unattended install of cygwin. I've tried the procedure with setup.exe -q (using the cygwinSetup.bat file) but it only results in a small delay and then it returns to the prompt. If I have cygwin installed normally first (by stepping through the setup guide), and then deletes the cygwin directory, then it works just fine afterwards when using the cygwinSetup.bat. That seems to me as if it requires something in the registry or the path settings.
Have any of you had that experince?
The setup.exe is version 2.510.2.2
