It installed all of the way to the login? Has it converted your drive from FAT to NTFS? It sounds like it could be a hard disk error. I wonder if the drive is partitioned properly in Linuxboot. I believe there is something on that in the mail archives. Adam Have you tried disabling automatic restart? WinXP has a lovely feature that by default it will reboot rather than give you an error message. As the computer is starting, press F8 to get the boot list, and there should be an option in there to disable it. Otherwise, try booting into Safe Mode - if it makes it into there, it is most likely a driver issue (albeit a little late to be faulting).
