I use the exact same script and it works flawless over here (Win2K SP4
Update Rollup 1, MSI 3.1).
Two ideas - install MSI 3.1 then try again OR I could send you my mdac
2.8 SP1 install file, maybe you got a different one, or MS has changed it
in the meantime.
