Hi guys,

I have installed 'unattended' according to the step-by-step guide.
I have copied a dutch WinXP SP2 image to the server which listens to the
name 'server'.
The server is running Linux (Fedora Core 4) and I have created a CNAME
'ntinstall' as the guide requires.
For some reason when I boot the CDROM it won't connect to 'ntinstall'
but it does to 'server'. While I can browse from my desktop to
'\\ntinstall\install' with 'guest' / 'guest'.
Weird, but doesn't matter much for now. I can always modify that
manually during the bootup and can change it in the .bat scripts to suit
my needs.

But the main problem is that when I am trying to install the base system
without applications, setup is unable to find certain files.
The first message I get is:
Setup cannot copy the file ftdisk.sys (translation from Dutch to English).
It's also missing or unable to copy:
partmgr.sys
modem.sys
fdc.sys
serenum.sys
swenum.sys
cdaudio.sys
odbcint.dll
sfc.dll
wdmaud.drv
parvdm.sys
... (and a lot more)

When I have skipped all files (which are a lot) the system reboots and
says it cannot find <windows>\system32\hal.dll

And then the system hangs.

I wonder what I am doing wrong...

With kind regards,
Tom
