Hi, I’m a nOOb to unattended and have nearly managed to get
a full installation working but the windows setup ‘blue screens’
after reboot. Details below… Unattened Version 4.6 Centos 4.3 Distribution Point Server Dell 2850 with Perc/4i Controller (boot client) Performing a network PXE Boot Ok..so here’s the deal. The network installation
seems to go through trouble free. I get my network mount \\ntinstall\install mounted ok and I
answer the questions from the install.pl script appropriately. The
OS (in this case w2k3 but same happens using winxp) seems to install and all
the setup files are copied across. After the .cab files have been copied
and the client server reboots to complete the installation it ‘Blue
Screens’ with a standard Windows stop error. Has anyone else had
this problem or is there anything I need to do to load the dell drivers for the
disk controller ( I assume this isn’t the problem as Windows setup
sees the disk to perform the copy of the cab files from the i386 directory) Any help greatly appreciated as I fell I must be pretty darn
close to getting this working and it’s driving me nuts ! Regards,
