Hello all,
I recently installed cygwin on a system that was already in use, and this
did not make the user (myself :-( happy. The default scripts change the
owner of the whole filesystem to Administrators group. Many personal files
were not accessible anymore.
Does anybody know why this is included? If it does not serve any purpose I
suggest someone disables these post-install commands in CVS.
Second, the AutoIt script is not correct for the current Cygwin installer.
At least first few lines should read:
Run, %Z%\\packages\\cygwin\\setup.exe
WinWait, Cygwin Setup
Send, {ENTER}
In the end of the script it also hangs, but I did not try to fix that.
Regards,
Arthur
