The CD from Mario is able to boot the Precision 690.
(took me a lot of time for then being able to launch installation from
sourceforge Unattended the CD is looking for the Unattended-gui init.sh )
But its ok.
Is Unattended sourceforge project still active ? or are people moving to
something different ?

Have you tried the linux boot cd from Mario?
