Hello everyone, I'm just trying to install a brand new IBM/Lenovo Thinpad R60 with a Broadcom NIC (BCM5751M). ATM I'm using the last boot iso from Mario (2.6.20-rc4-mm1) and after booting the system over PXE I don't get an IP from the DHCP server.
I've tried another boot iso (2.6.17-gentoo-r4). I'm now able to get an IP from the DHCP server, but parted isn't working properly. In the 1st scenario I can see the NIC via lspci and the tg3 module is loaded properly as I can figure that out. I've also tried to assign a static IP, but I'm not able to mount the z share nor I can ping anything on the network. It seems like something is broken in the newer kernel versions. My question is: Someone else got the same problem or maybe a workaround for this? Any help is much appreciated.
