Subject: [Unattended] Unattended answer for Create list of files to offerfor
editing

I have figured out how to answer everything automatically for an
unattended(no hands) install of winxp except for the section in the
install.pl that creates a list of files to offer for editing which
requires a response, with choices of 1,2,3,4,x ... I would like to
answer 4 then proceed to the actual install and the reboot the machine
when done. If anyone knows how to get around this situation, please
respond.

As Matt mentioned, I think you're looking for 'edit_files = 0'.

Sounds as if this tip is too late for you but what you can do is do an
unattended install and then copy the C:\NETINST\UNATTENDED.TXT file off the
target computer to use the next time you do an unattended install. Not all
answers are stored in there. You still won't get a completely unattended
install. But between the documented parameters and what's in the file that's
created on the C: drive, you can pretty easily create a unattended.txt file
that does it all.
