Hi list,

I have a "Disk error, press any key to restart" error on first reboot on a
(HP/)Compaq nw9940.

I've tried several parted versions, severel kernel versions n stuff like that.
It seems, that the problem is not situated in parted.

Harddrives are detected correctly. They get partitioned, Windowssetup copies
it's files, reboot is made and the error message mentioned above occurs.

Anyone around with hint(s) on how to possibly solve this problem?

Greetings,

Benni
