Hi Guys, well I have a question regarding Windows installation source.
I found a few websites where 1. some guy developed a tool which integrates windows patches (Windows XP patches at this time only) which then burned into CD. So at installation time all this patches will be installed automatically and we do not need to go through all that pain in "unattended" and few dozen reboots. http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack.html 2. some other guy developed a tool to integrate drivers (he has a few packs of drivers like NIC, Video A, Video B, Video C, Sound A, Sound B). I guess that this part also can go into os/winxp tree and would save a lot of time and twicks with drivers. http://driverpacks.net/ http://driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/ I would prefer to rebuild os/winxp tree once a month and save enormous amount of time at installation., than try to do it on each computer in "automatic mode" what consumes a lot of time (and electrical energy as well). Do you think that providing an instructions how to prepare a document how to make "Windows XP installation CD updated with all patches and set of drivers" would be a good idea. I believe that these websites give a valuable tools into our hands and we should not "pass by" it.
